Students who have completed their 10+2 (high school) education from a recognized board can register for the CA Foundation Course.

To register for the CA Foundation Course, you need to:

  • Visit the ICAI website and create an account.
  • Fill out the registration form.
  • Pay the registration fee online.
  • Submit the required documents, such as your 10+2 mark sheet and a passport-sized photograph.2.

As of the latest update, the registration fee for the CA Foundation Course is approximately INR 9,000. This includes registration, study material, and examination fees.

 The CA Foundation syllabus includes four papers:

  • Paper 1: Principles and Practice of Accounting
  • Paper 2: Business Laws and Business Correspondence and Reporting
  • Paper 3: Business Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, and Statistics
  • Paper 4: Business Economics and Business and Commercial Knowledge

The CA Foundation exam is conducted in an offline (pen-and-paper) mode. paper 1 &2 are subjective based and 3 &4 are objective based.

Negative marking is applicable to objective based papers, dedudcting 1/4th mark for each incorrect answer.

To pass the CA Foundation exams, a student must score a minimum of 40% in each paper and an aggregate of 55% in all papers combined.

ICAI provides official study materials upon registration, which can also be accessed online through the ICAI's website. Additionally, students can use reference books and join coaching classes if needed

Results are announced on the ICAI website, usually within two months after the exam. Students can check their results using their roll number and registration number.

Generally the exams are conducted in English mode, but we will teach in tamil to make you understand the concepts

Eligibility criteria include:

  • Passing the CA Foundation exam.
  • Graduates or postgraduates in commerce with at least 55% marks or other graduates/postgraduates with at least 60% marks can directly enroll without taking the Foundation exam (Direct Entry route).

As of the latest update, the registration fee for both groups of the CA Intermediate Course is approximately INR 18,000. For single group registration, the fee is around INR 13,000.

Group I:

  • Paper 1: Advanced Accounting
  • Paper 2: Corporate and Other Laws
  • Paper 3: Taxation (including both Direct and Indirect Tax Laws)

Group II:

  • Paper 4: Cost & Management accounting
  • Paper 5: Auditing and Ethics
  • Paper 6: Financial Management and Strategic Management

Yes, students have the option to appear for either one group or both groups of exams at a time, depending on their preparation and confidence level.

The CA Final syllabus is divided into two groups, each containing four papers:

  • Find an organization offering industrial training opportunities.
  • Get approval from your principal and the ICAI.
  • Submit the required forms (Form 104) to ICAI along with the training agreement.
